Ya just don't get it Bluze. You just aren't picking up what we're putting down here. We are not attacking ALL Christians, just the one's who are so loud and proud, that they just have to force it on everyone else. I don't know why Rush has been married so many times, but given the fact that he's a pompous ass-bag, I can render a pretty good guess. To give you just another example of where we are coming from, take Fred Phelps for instance. His stance on gays is so far out there that you just know...KNOW....that somewhere in the bowels of Westboro Baptist Church, there just has to be his little pleasure stash of anal toys and hairy dude videos.

I'm Christian, and while I feel like I've got the right to criticize my own, like Pauly said, I'm really for criticizing the loudest asshats, you know, the hypocrits. I'm not generally in favor of using a paintbrush on everyone who's Christian, or frankly, of any other label, including gays.
What has yet to make sense to me is this: All those who say "Obama is declaring war on marriage! Marriage is sacrosanct and deserves respect" - well, here's my problem, those same folks don't show marriage the same "respect" they claim it deserves. Does that sit well with you? Well, it does not with me. When I was growing up, our church wouldn't even RECOGNIZE divorce. If you got divorced through legal means, it was not recognized by our church and you were no longer able to go up and take the Eucharist, because you had not followed church doctrine. You were an outcast. I won't debate if that was right or wrong, but it was the doctrine of my church at the time.
I realize some folks get married and need a divorce - but 3 times and still jumping back into the ring? Odds defy that just being bad luck - and while I'll give him props for even after 3 divorces still wanting to take a chance and find that one to spend the rest of his life with, his lack of success makes him far from being an authority on the topic of marriage, so he should not act like he is an authority on the topic. Instead, it just comes off cheap and basically as Do as I say, not as I do! And I've just got a real problem with that.
Finally, I didn't read the link, but assume it's about 4 innocent folks who had done nothing wrong to anyone else, but were taken from us too soon. Assuming so, anyone who talks shit about those 4 who died are just as rotten and cowardly as Fred Phelps and his ilk are towards the troops. But does it shock me? Nope - the internet is full of douches.

and it's the crazy whackadoo douchebags of every flavor who keep reminding us of why we shouldnt just up and kill someone for having different "love interests". cause we'll just go in another pile of crazy assholes. i've been given shit over my "love choices" for years. i'm not planning on firebombing any buildings or lynching random people who are unlucky enough to simply be affiliated with the particular individuals who give me shit. cause they dont really matter in my grand scheme of things.
if they want to judge me, my best advise is to either do it loud and proud in my face so i can be sure of which pile of assholes to group them with, or do it quietly, behind whatever closed doors they need. because if they do it in a place that has any "connotations" or affiliations attatched to it, thats the pile you're going into. random religious asshole, random political asshole, random random asshole... there's groups for random and specific medical assholes, and a small pile for "public works" assholes, like the bitch who gives you shit at the electric bill place... then there's a huge group for asshole driver assholes...

if you personally are not a whackadoo douchebag, and you're pretty sure your loved ones arent either, then i wasnt talking about you unless i specify.
if they are whackadoo douchebags, but i dont know them, i probally still wasnt referring to them. i'll wait to decide if they need a pile till i "meet" them. hell, they may be so cool of a flavor of crazy, they'll get their own pile. if i dont know them yet, i might even like them.
