56 years old - not bad. Rich as hell at a young age, but never even finished high school - not bad at all. Created a bunch of products that changed how we lived and sold like crazy - pretty damned good. Thought outside of the box and didn't expect anyone to spoon feed him - an honest to God rarity.
Sure, it's sad he's dead, but I'm honestly more sad for his wife and 4 children, who've barely even been mentioned in the last 24 hours. I'm not sad for holders of Apple stock, or the board or executives there. They'll just have to figure out how to be as inventive as he was on their own time.
