They've had a weak schedule so far, aside from the Pats, the Bolts' only loss.

Injuries are starting to be felt. The Colts are a prime example. they started suffering beforehand. Ownership and coaching is becoming critical with a parity in players.

The Steeler's first game was a nightmare. The offense has been struggling.

Jeffrey, this is how you keep a subject going. We don't need one for every team.

I'm on board with the Lions. Considering how they've been the last ten years, anything is an improvement. They have a stout defense...Suh is a BEAST. Stafford is coming along well. Throw in Calvin Johnson, who has been an elite receiver since college and they have the potential to be great. The Lions are definitely a team on the way up.

They aren't alone though. Add the Bengals to that list of teams on the way up. So far this year they have exceeded all expectations. This is the team that ESPN and all the talking heads said wouldn't win a game this year without Palmer and Ocho. They aren't great, but they are winning games. Of course, given the schedules this year for the AFC North, there's no reason the LAST place team in that division shouldn't go at least 9-7.

In the AFC North, you know at least 6 of your games aren't going to be a picnic. The NFC North is not slouching this year.

I took that into consideration when I said nobody in the AFC North should be worse than 9-7. Other than a couple tough non-division/conference games, the schedules are relatively easy. The AFC North plays the NFC West out of conference this year. They certainly aren't any kind of powerhouse conference. Then while the Steelers have to play New England, the others get to ride by playing cupcakes like Miami, Jacksonville, and a Manning-less Colts team that frankly aren't worth a shit.

Finally getting easy schedules!

Funny how one player can make such a huge difference in a team.

Chances are people who read this topic will know already. Perhaps maybe one or two will think it's about a Lion in Detroit or something.

The flipside, the Giants won a big game. Eli is doing exceptionally well, with only 5 interceptions in six games. Not only that, but he keeps going like he has, he could hit the 4,500 passing yard mark. Which is fucking impressive.

And the skins couldn't even get it done against the Eagles at home. For crying out loud.

The 49ers are starting to impress me, and Green Bay is still looking strong.

And Carson Palmer has been dealt to the Raiders for their first round pick and 2012 and at minimum their second round pick in 2013. (if the Raiders make the playoffs and win one game, the stripes get their first round pick in 2013)
I gotta give old Mike Brown props for this deal.
