Peyton Manning underwent 3rd surgery on his neck.
« on: September 09, 2011, 02:06 am »
Indianapolis Colts QB, Peyton Manning had underwent a 3rd surgery on his neck.
Peyton Manning underwent  surgery to fuse the C-2 and C-3 vertebrae in his neck.
Expected to miss 2 to 3 months.
The Colts will not place him on injured reserve, according to Glazer.
The Colts confirmed the surgery had taken place but offered no timetable for the superstar's return.
"As previously stated on Monday, September 5th, Peyton Manning has undergone further testing and consultation with several specialists regarding his rehabilitation," the team said in a statement.
"The results of these tests and the consensus of the consultations was that further surgery was warranted. Peyton has undergone this surgery today by having a single level anterior fusion. The surgery was uneventful."
As Glazer first said, Manning was expected to undergo the procedure hours after Colts owner Jim Irsay implied on Twitter that Manning, a four-time MVP, would be out much longer than just Week 1.

That sucks for him - hope he makes a full and quick recovery.

And what that means is, we're left with watching the other Manning - you know - the one who throws the ball to the wrong team.

The other Manning sure does. Colts can win with out him, they've done before but they would win more games.

Peyton is out because of his neck injury. Eli will take over his brother's spot as the number 1 QB to not miss a game. Pity because Peyton wasn't that far from Farve. Eli has I think 8 or 10 years.

If animals wanted to have rights they would do what women did and   protest. There is no protesting from the animals, thus they do not want   rights.

Thinking of donating to H$U$?

Someone who takes Wendy Malick or Wayne Pacelle up on their infomercial request for "just $19 dollars a month" will pay HSUS $228 over the course of a year. Of that, just $1.03 will reach a pet shelter.
