Is Milk good or Bad??

Most people think milk is heathy, and builds strong bones.  Not all think so.
Through science study, milk has NO benifits for bones and that milk drinkers have least amounts of calcium.
This is becuase protein INHIBITS calcium.

i think the guy sounds like a nut job.  i heard something about the "luekemia virus" and i'm not positive or anything, but last i checked, leukemia isnt contagious, like viruses are.  it's a cancer.  had an uncle or 2 die of it.

i dont particurlarly care for milk myself, and there are more efficient ways to get your calcium, but he's a whackjob.  milk isnt poison, by any means, i half expected to hear him spout the "chocolate milk is full of blood and poop, thats why it's brown" crap you hear from the die hear petards

Blood or bone cancer, isn't it?  I'm pretty sure it's not contagious.  I think, at the most, you can have a genetic predisposition towards it (like other cancers).

"Vitamin" D (still a habit of mine, since Megman would flip his shit about how it's not a vitamin) is needed to absorb the calcium into the bones.  So, no, calcium alone won't do much.
Milk has both.  Milk in excess is just as bad as not drinking it period.
And I hate milk.

it's been a while since i took medical terminology, but i did pretty well, leuko is a latin base for white, and emeia, or part of that, is blood, so it has something to do with your white blood cells.  now, the emia part i'm not 100% or even 70% positive on, cause i know there are other base words for blood, but i KNOW leuko  is white, and i would almost swear leukemia has to do with your white blood cells not working right, and they're probuced by your bone marrow.

now, milk isnt the most effective way to get too many of those vitamins and shit, but the guy was calling it "liquid meat"  i seriously expected him to start screaming "SECRETION SLURPER!"

If I recall correctly, leukemia is an abnormality of your white blood cells.  So, technically, it could be cancer of the bone or blood (or both).


All this guesswork could be solved by a simple Google search.

yup, the google thingy would've been easy, but it wouldnt have made me use my brain as much.  i had a feeling i was missing the "h" at the front of the emia, cause emia is to close to emesis, which is puke, but hemato is blood...

meh, so i wouldnt have gotten an a on this test...

I personally don't give a rat's ass if it's poison or not. I love milk and I drink two or three gallons a week. It's my favorite drink after beer. Just don't mix the two.

Even when I drank milk I thought it was vile. But almond milk is fucking delicious. And the flavor compliments grains, nuts and fruit really well so it's perfect for cereal. Not so great in coffee, though.
