Arguing the 'We Aren't Onmivore' Stance

--- Quote from: Rayndrop on May 01, 2011, 02:35 pm ---But her opinion stuck.  She kept telling us to eat a raw chicken. Unless I ate raw meat (which I am not willing to do), she believed our bodies were incapable.

--- End quote ---

Tell her to digest cellulose.

cowgirlTuff:
I like my steak MOOOOING! and it has not killed me yet.

Pollock:
Two words: SUSHI and SASHIMI - has she never heard of this? It's raw fish consumption

And like Acer said, tell her to digest cellulose and I'd add to that - I'd like to see her eat corn husks and grass.

We also have a smart brain that told us meat was safer for us once it's cooked a littl bit so we started grillin. Not all evolution of diet is solely based on the GI tract - some is based on other aspects related to diet.

BigHornRam:
We're too omnivores. We cannot eat raw meat, not becuase we're herbivores, but we don't have the enzymes in us like wolves, lions, tigers, bears
and other preditors. Since we cook our food, they died off in our bodies. Even though you're born with it, by the time you are 4, 5, maybe a little
bit later, like 7, they will die off, becuase you don't eat raw meat. Natrually we could. Other countrys, do eat raw meat and be healthy, I think
some where around, Sweden, Denmark, Norway....

--- Quote from: Smilodon on May 01, 2011, 08:59 pm ---Tell your friend to look up steak tartare and carpaccio. Both dishes are raw meat. I especially enjoy a good steak tartare now and then, as I can trust the butcher I buy the meat from.

--- End quote ---
Sounds good, Maybe i'll try.
