It would be a good eye-opener for many (most US teenagers and young adults, PETARDS, others) to go over to a place like that just for a few days so they can appreciate what a great thing we have back here and maybe lower their bitching down a bit. It'll never happen, but one can dream....

 After reading this article, it reminded me of all the articles that I had read over the years about kids that were forced to become soldiers for the Revolutionary United Front duing the civil war in Sierra Leone, and all of the illegal 'blood' diamonds used to pay off the RUF.
