Maryland isn't on the list. Explain the law though, what does it entail? Is this for in-home or is it for like some crackhead jumps you at a parking lot?

--- End quote ---

It is a right to defend self and others with deadly force anywhere.

If I'm in my car and some clown wants to carjack me, I can shoot them. If I'm in my home and someone breaks in, I can shoot them. If someone is in a situation in which the victim may be fatally injured, I can shoot the criminal.

General Logic:
You know, horse sense and basic logic.

States that don't have the law yet, that end up getting it will be added to the list.

Figures MD doesn't have it then ( liberals here ), though I have seen the cops and DA's not press charges with in-home/in- business location cases, like the convenience store owner shooting some crackhead robber, or the 2 guys who had this business that was broken into all the time, finally saying fuck it and shooting the next assholes who broke in.

Pretty lame though if you are being carjacked, attacked somewhere, and can't defend yourself. I think CC permitting  in MD is fucked up too though. I will have to do a search to see what the regs are on CC in MD.
