They've totally redone Azeroth. The shattering altered the terrain in Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor. Plus they've completely revamped the leveling areas.
So, you might want to give it a try, it's a whole new game again

I think that's why they added so many new flight paths in Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdoms
