Instead of looking like a fool, I didn't ask what the hell Chipotle was on here, a friend told me instead. I also found out that McDonalds owns them. :D I do not like McDonalds at all but Chipotle sounds like a good place to eat.

Ok, that's still a weird video to be showing then. i mean they had copies for sale and everything, and it was showing right behind where the line is to get food. is it a movie that's sort of against 'processed' food or something? maybe they showed it to show they were 'against anything but the best and fresh food'? no idea. it was definitely food, inc movie though, since i remember the cow with the barcode image on the screen.

nope.  no input.  most people who work in the food industry know the "back rooms" arent pretty and arent fit for the general public to be looking at while eating.

so it was either an idiot or an unobservant manager,  or it's bullshit.

even if there isnt an underlying anti meat message, the under and backsides of any food industry is not something to be showing video of in the diningroom.

Oh you know what, I feel like an idiot. I just double checked, because I remembered the poster they had up with it, and it was actually the movie Food, inc. though i don't keep track of all those meat/food related documentries, so i apologize. Though perhaps there's some sort of anti-meat messages unlying in that video? I won't make any assumptions though since I haven't seen it. any input?

Chipolte just seems like the 'Starbucks' of the burrito world. Never actually eaten there, but i never liked the 'aura' the place put off. That and it seemed pretty expensive. And the worst part, one I went in once to pick someone up, they were playing that anti-meat movie from meat.org ("the video the meat industry doesn't want you to see") playing on a tv on the wall. wtf? I basically lost respect for them there. Also because they obviously have meats available for their food, so why are they putting an anti-meat video up all over the place? All i could think of was petards.

Depends on th emanager. Right ot assembly doesn't mean he has to allow it in his store. But he may not be a good manager either.

i dont see how they "obviously have meats availiable for their food"  (yes i do now, see the next paragraph) they're a coffee place.  not a deli.  any muffins etc could be critter friendly i suppose.  i doubt any claims would be legit, but they could claim it.

but, it was just pointed out that you are talking about chipped poodle, and not starbucks.  are you sure the video being shown wasnt part of some group of turds having a meeting there?  just being douchebags, and the managers either didnt know about it, or didnt know how to stop it?

cause sometimes just cause the guy is the one in charge, doesnt mean he knows what to do.  when people start standing on "their rights" to assembly or other things that are very legitamite, and use them to do vile things,  like show slaughter video in a chipotle, or gory abortion results on street corners.   next thing someone will fuck a monkey on capitol hill and swear it's a protest statement, and they have rights regaurding it.

I love this local chain called "Freebirds".

Just check out the menu. I'm not sure how much Chipotle runs now, but it was fairly expensive.

It's Five Guys.

OMFG, it is sooooooooooo good!

I LOVE FIVE GUYS.  Their burgers are decent, and better with bacon.
BUT THEIR CAJUN FRIES ARE HEAVENLY.

The burgers are great....but man, I can't leave the restaurant until an hour later. Stuff goes right through me.

What in the fuck is a Whataburger, a Hardy's (Hardees?), or a Carl, Jr's?

Besides burger joints, I get that.
I think there may be a Hardees out in the boonies.

Whataburger sux here. Went there once and got sick. Carl's Jr. and Hardee's are the same company now. Carl's had the fuckin' yellow smiling star.

Thinking of donating to H$U$?

Someone who takes Wendy Malick or Wayne Pacelle up on their infomercial request for "just $19 dollars a month" will pay HSUS $228 over the course of a year. Of that, just $1.03 will reach a pet shelter.
