He also has the Elite (the black more expensive one). It hasn't RROD'd him yet, but it requires vibration to run the game (he has to drum the table to get it to work). If you are gooing to use it a lot, leave it on (as long as the system is designed for long use). I leave my PC on. The monitor and hard drive can go to sleep, but the components themselves are still hot.
