Some more proof:
Forward facing eyes (found almost exclusively on carnivores or omnivores.)
Incisors/fangs/canines, whatever you so choose to call them.
Nearly all plant eaters have fermenting vats (enlarged chambers where foods sits and microbes attack it). Ruminants like cattle and deer have forward sacs derived from remodeled esophagus and stomach. Horses, rhinos, and colobine monkeys have posterior, hindgut sacs. Humans have no such specializations. http://www.vrg.org/nutshell/omni.htm
Plus we are smart enough to realize that raising cattle is much easier than hunting and can provide for more people. Yuk, yuk, yuk. Our brain did help us reach/stay at the top of the food chain.
Oh yeah, Team America, Fuck Yeah!
That makes sence.

Well, if the topic ever comes up again (doubt it will), I'll definitely point these things out. I'm sure she'd fine some way around the sushi thing. Like how fish are different or some crap like that. But she definitely learned (somewhere) that we are ENTIRELY incapable of eating food and that instant death follows. I'm not even sure if she learned it from the vegetarian stuff, she may have just picked that up generally through her life even when she ate meat. :/ She's definitely not big on science.

Two things.
One: Not a person here wouldn't eat raw beef if necessary. I would have to be fucking dying and death would be the result if I didn't eat raw beef.
Your price, but you would do it.

That's how I feel about mushrooms. Can't stand them and they totally gross me out.

I love raw beef, I've eaten still beating fish hearts, I won't eat raw pork, trichinosis and all, I'd eat raw chicken if it were butchered in a sanitary method, and ready to eat within 10 minutes.
Why do you guys eat raw meat? Do you like the taste? I can't imagine putting raw meat in my mouth even if I ate meat, just the thought turns my stomach.
It turns my stomach too. Maybe because it's slimy and weird feeling when I cook with it. I don't know. It's just never been appetizing to me.

Why do people eat what they eat?
Culture, $, available options, etc. Some folks like eating moldy cheese, others eat fungi that grow on shit, and others eat roots pulled from the ground or the family pet. I personally won't eat all of those, but figure as long as they don't find what they're eating to be repulsive, then it's their colon....

H$U$
Thinking of donating to H$U$?
Someone who takes Wendy Malick or Wayne Pacelle up on their infomercial request for "just $19 dollars a month" will pay HSUS $228 over the course of a year. Of that, just $1.03 will reach a pet shelter.
