Posted by: Mel« on: August 17, 2010, 10:20 pm »I have to admit - I love the second one better because it's truly amazing.
And, I love how Dodge still has the announcer say monkey because for all we know it's a squirrel or another animal there. So... in the end, PETA is mocked, not a lot of money lost on Dodge's side, the sale goes on, and the monkey gets a second royalty for having his name in the ad (well maybe not the third, but it'd be really funny). BTW - Old Navy also has an ad with a monkey with the mannequins for a jeans commercial. All he does is ring a gong though for the plastic dummies, so I guess that's why they're giving him a bye - he can't be harmed (never mind said monkey in the Dodge ad wasn't either). Also, it's an ape, not a monkey. Posted by: Conspiracy Bird« on: August 14, 2010, 05:10 pm »I'm not a fan of dressing up monkies, but that was a great responce to PETA's nagging.

Probably... not like they ever miss a chance. Posted by: Pollock« on: August 13, 2010, 01:57 pm » Posted by: Medium Rare« on: August 13, 2010, 01:15 pm »That was funny!

Of course. Quote So they made a second one with a digitally-erased monkey. Good. Quote The second commercial is funnier then the first. I just googled it and I can attest to that! Take that 'ya PeTArds!
Someone who takes Wendy Malick or Wayne Pacelle up on their infomercial request for "just $19 dollars a month" will pay HSUS $228 over the course of a year. Of that, just $1.03 will reach a pet shelter. |
