Yeah, seemed like we skipped late spring and went straight to August summer weather. Not ideal, by a longshot.

Oh, sweet! A friend of mine wants to take me to an auction next week on the account that I have never been to one and I want a bunny.

Gah, I can't wait for Summer, either! Saturday was cold/rainy/windy as hell...the power actually got knocked out for about 4 hours, which effed up all my cleaning/cooking that I had to do because my parents were coming to visit Sunday. Then, Sunday morning comes, and what is it doing outside? It's frickin' SNOWING! GAH! And it was windy again, though not as bad as Saturday.

Seriously, I was loving the 70-80 degree weather we had a few days back. Started gettin' my tan on already, and the kids could play outside for hours, for all I cared....it was so nice. Not only that, but when it drops like, 30 degrees in the course of less than 24 hours, hubby gets a monster migraine that leaves him nearly laying on the bathroom floor from puking his brains out. NOT fun.

I can't wait til it's warm again...

This is pissing me off to no end. For the last three weeks now it has been flat beautiful out.....from Monday until about Friday afternoon. Then as soon as my weekend off is about to begin, the temperature drops about 20 degrees and the rain comes. Yesterday, it was 80 degrees and sunny. Today, it is a nice shade of gray with 25 MPH winds and it's about 50 out. It has done this the last three weekends I've had off in a row. I haven't been able to mow my grass because it spends the whole weekend as a mudpit. I'm afraid now that I may find jungle critters out there when I finally can mow.

So far, I have got to enjoy the nice weather we've had just long enough to go to work in it....about 20 minutes a day during my commute. As soon as I get time to spend outside, it gets all shitty. It is pissing me off.

Same here. Because of what happened last year with all the rain, I am keeping my plants inside unless it is entirely sunny out. So far, it has been raining the entire mornings, THEN it gets nice. And I can't put them out because I am at work.

Today, I was planning on hosing off the sides of the house, but it's freakin' cold out!

Still looking for a bunny. Found a pet shop that carries dwarfs, but that's it.

I hope to get a damn tan so I'm not see-through.

You`re going to wear a rabbit?

We have just had a week of snow, sleet, cold and very high winds.  My house almost has no roof left and the ceiling is coming down in the spare bedroom.

It`s fox kitting season and Mrs Fox is out for a free meal.  She took five of my chickens last week, but I found her entry point and sealed it off.  I bet she`s pissed, but she obviously hasn`t worked out that she`s a fox and foxes can climb.  Today I plan to make the fence higher though, so hopefully that will foil her for good.  I hope so.  I`m tired of buying chickens every spring to feed foxes.  There are plenty of rabbits, she can eat those.

I need to go skiing a few more times before I can allow spring to happen here. The leaves on the trees are no where near but I did have a couple daffodils come up but it snowed a foot last week and killed them so I went skiing. It's supposed to snow again this week end. I love snow.

My mom insists on turning on the AC in like... February.
Meanwhile, my fatless and bloodless self has to shiver under piles of blankets to stay warm.

No, but almost every night when I lived in Plainfield.

The heat is SO MUCH more noticeable when you don't have air conditioning.

Thinking of donating to H$U$?

Someone who takes Wendy Malick or Wayne Pacelle up on their infomercial request for "just $19 dollars a month" will pay HSUS $228 over the course of a year. Of that, just $1.03 will reach a pet shelter.
